Date of establishment:
Pursuant to notification Ref. No. 12-5/2019-CCRAS/Estt. /3741, dated-30.09.2019 issued by CCRAS Head Qtr. New Delhi erstwhile ACAMHNS was relocated in CARI, #12, Uttarahalli, Manavarthekaval, Uttarahalli, Hobli, Bengaluru South Taluk, Kanakapura Main Road, Thalaghatapura Post, Bengaluru-109 on 01.10.2019 and thereafter functioned under AD Incharge of CARI, Bengaluru.  Further, RARIM&MMR was established in Goa in the similar staff pattern of ACAMHNS w.e.f 22.12.2020.
Key figures involved in the founding:
The Ministry of Ayush under the governance of Sri Sripad yesso Naik, the then minister of state, independent charge took keen interest and efforts to establish an Ayush research councils units at Goa to cater services of different systems of Indian Medicine to the people of Goa. The Institute was officially inaugurated on 14/07/2023 by Shri. Sarbananda Sonowal, MoS for AYUSH, Govtof India. An Ayurveda OPD was started functioning in the institute on 15/12/2022.
 
Initial objectives and mission:
To provide Ayurvedic medical care at the OPD level.To conduct scientific research in clinical and non-clinical trials with mineral and marine resources
